Bit Torrent client backend?
Something that lists for example the top 10 from piratebay/other torrent sites and turns them into a Item in coherence that when requested starts the download with a bt client.
[jmsizun] would be usefull also for the MIRO Guide backend, where some of the content are torrent files instead of real videos. But we need a way to express the fact that an entry is "to be downloaded", "currently donwloading" or "ready for playing": prefix or suffix to the title, specific icon, whatever.... The UPnP spec has something about resource importing and 'empty' resources info (with importUri metadata). However, it is not directly adapted, and, I am not so sure it is implemented at all by the clients.
New MediaDB backend
Add images and videos to the current audio-centric MediaDB backend. Please see the wiki for more info.
Localisation
Add localisation of the various backends' static menu names (Artists, All tracks, Top Rated, Most Popular...) according to a global "locale" setting
Web UI
- Ability to trigger searchs, imports, upload from the web UI.
- Ability to view thumbnails, description, size, ... information from the web UI.
- Ability to apply specific CSS styling to the web UI.
- Edit configuration file from within web UI.
ScheduledRecording service
